We simply could not have had a better location for our wedding than your gorgeous home! The views are spectacular – the web pages can’t do justice to actually being here. That we could celebrate our marriage in such a beautiful and peaceful setting is truly a blessing. Some high points of our trip: The pool was great! And, of course, we loved the outdoor speakers to enjoy some island music while swimming and sunning! We all loved dinner at Indigo’s – fabulous food and so close to the villa for that first night dining here. Duffy’s Love Shack is a great time – good food, “island time” service and excellent, fun drinks. The Banana Tree Grill was an excellent spot for our wedding dinner. We had a beautiful view of the harbor and cruise ship lights. The service was impeccable and the food sublime. Little Lameshure Bay on St. John is a great snorkeling beach (good for swimming and relaxing, too). No amenities, but uncrowded and special. A bit difficult to get to, but it was worth the trip (only if you have a rental car – a jeep would be best). All in all, a week we will always remember made even more special by the beautiful surroundings.

Our honeymoon!! This place is absolutely incredible, the most beautiful and breathtaking place I have ever been. It has been the most perfect spot for us to spend our honeymoon. My most favorite thing we did here was spend time together basking in the sun and I got to hold the hand of the man (while sharing this incredible scenery) who I am getting the chance to spend the rest of my life with. I would say his highlight was conquering Mahogany Run Golf Course and the Devil’s Triangle. We have had just the best time. We will think about this place everyday of our lives remembering it as the most perfect, incredible honeymoon two people could ever have. Thank you again for everything and thank you Calypso for having the packet of info (which helped us pick our spots to eat, shop, visit) and for being very helpful all the way around!

We had a great time. It went by too fast. The villa, the pool the island, etc., etc., were all great!! Hope to be back next year.

07/06: P. P.
This past week has been absolute “heaven.” St. Thomas is a gorgeous island with picture perfect views. Our villa by the sea has served our family well, especially the fabulous infinity pool. Visiting the market place and diamond stores has been an experience we will never forget. Overall, our holiday has been fun, adventurous and simply a joy. We hope to return as soon as possible!

07/06: F. F. – Chicago,. Illinois
We enjoyed a fabulous week residing in this lovely villa. The views are breathtaking. We came down here for my niece’s wedding and were not crazy about the time of year, but it actually was cooler here than back home! There were many days “cruise ship free” which made for uncrowded shopping and beachcombing. I will recommend this villa to others as it was beautiful, comfortable and well equipped.

This has truly been one of the best weeks of my life! Being in such a beautiful place with my family has been a gift, and I know that we all return home with many wonderful memories!!! Magen’s Bay is beautiful and we also enjoyed Sapphire Beach with the sea turtles and sting rays! The boys enjoyed an afternoon exploring on jet skis, but everyone enjoyed the day long sail with Captain Joe on his catamaran “Scubadu!” Be sure to stop at the Udder Delight milk shake on your way home from the beach! Thanks to the owners for sharing this piece of paradise, and enjoy all those to follow!

05/06: G.S. – California
We had a fabulous time! The views from every doorway and window are breathtaking. This is the most memorable vacation yet!

05/06: L.D. – Indiana
The house: WOW! Beautiful and spacious! The view spectacular, gorgeous, unreal!!! Cannot describe our thoughts on the beauty. So unlike anything we are used to seeing. I once described Magen’s Bay as heaven on earth after a brief stop on a cruise, and I am still a believer. Coki Beach: we were a bit apprehensive at first but turned out to be an awesome day. We had a wonderful lunch with many friendly people there. The Sun: Is it us, or is it more intense here? Either way, we are thankful for it. Mahogany Run Golf Course: the guys went and loved it. It’s like no golf course in flat Indiana! That brings us to the driving. We drove ourselves. Remember, keep to the left and if you get car sick, God help you! Enjoy this little piece of paradise, we did!

02/06: M. S. – Greenwich, Connecticut
We had a beautiful time here at this magnificent home. It couldn’t have been better. We loved the island. The boat “Magic Moments” down in Red Hook, was terrific for a day to the islands with Al and Lori. Virgilio’s in Charlotte Amalie was terrific for Osseo Bocce. Thanks for a wonderful place to stay. We’ll be back.

Our first time visit to St. Thomas was fabulous and the house only made it all the better! The set up of the house worked wonderfully for our family. We really enjoyed just laying around the house and enjoying the breathtaking view. Ocean’s Edge was FANTASTIC and we will definitely return if we come back to St. Thomas.

10/05: T. T.
Great view, great rooms, great house!

08/05: B. O. – Texas
A Short Story: There once was a family that loved each other very much and worked together very much. The parents decided that their family needed a very nice vacation. So, they all traveled from Texas to St. Thomas and stayed at Ocean’s Edge. The financial and business professionals were impressed with the efficiency, thoughtfulness and generosity of the property owners and leasing agents. The architect and designers were amazed by the effective use of the land and furnishings to create an exceptionally comfortable, accommodating and beautiful home. The gardener enjoyed the well planned landscaping and abundant floras. The event organizer appreciated all the helpful advice in this little book from so many previous guests. The photographer took hundreds of pictures. The others posed for hundreds of pictures. The schoolteacher (law student) soaked up the relaxing ambiance (i.e. hereinafter referred to as “the pool”). The biology major was in awe of the fantastic grill. The ladies were stunned by the wide variety of shopping opportunities. The men were stunned by the wide variety of shopping opportunities. The girlfriend and boyfriend were romanced by this spot of paradise. In short (really, this is the short version) the guests were all very happy. They refreshed body and soul by relaxing by the pool, eating great food, relaxing by the pool, sleeping a lot, relaxing by the pool, days at the beach, a little kayaking and then relaxing by the pool. They were rejuvenated by long talks (by the pool) playing spades and laughing a lot, reading books, watching movies, star gazing in the hammock. Their spirits were renewed by sunrise and moonlight meditations in God’s Word. They observed the beauty of God’s creation from the balconies, the patio and (of course) from the pool. They watched some heavenly fireworks – an exceptional meteor shower – on their last evening here.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to experience “Ocean’s Edge.” This was our second year to Peterborg and first time with this villa. The house is extremely comfortable, not to mention beautiful. Taking a cue from other guests, we used chef Mark to come and prepare an awesome meal one night. Other great meals included Old Stone Farmhouse, Agave Terrace and, of course, Duffy’s Love Shack. Our thanks again for opening your home to us – we will definitely be back!

07/05: S. D. – Birmingham, Alabama
Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our time at “Ocean’s Edge.” We have been coming to St. Thomas for the past four years. Your place has been the most beautiful and enjoyable “home” we have stayed in. “Home” is not used loosely because it was so comfortable and inviting. We have also booked “Ocean’s Edge” for next year. Thank you for sharing your wonderful piece of paradise. We enjoyed ourselves so much we looked for extra work at the hospital here so we can have a place like this in the future. We are both in the health care profession and our services appear to be needed on “island.” Again, thanks.

06/05: S. – Chattanooga, Tennessee
S. - Greensboro, North Carolina

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. We had some of the best views anywhere on the islands right here. Waking up and seeing only the ocean was the best!
Highlights: #1 Day sail with Captain Hollywood Joe and his mate Danielle to the Hawks Nest and Honeymoon on St. John. He’s a larger than life character who’s sailed here for 33 years. #2 Day sail to Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke aboard New Horizon 2. A nice trip, fun crew. Lowlight: Shopping at the grocery store in Tutu. Much better to shop at Red Hook Marina market or the mall.

05/05: K. C. – Bentonville, Arkansas
We had a glorious stay at Ocean’s Edge. We rented another villa in October and lusted after this one, so had to come back in May. Loved the pool and having cigars on the pool deck with the great ocean breeze. The kitchen is nice – don’t be afraid to grab some steaks at the Marina Market and have a feast. We will surely return soon. You have a lovely home. Thanks for sharing it with us!

04/05: R. A. – Skokie, Illinois
Fantastic! A perfect “10.” We loved the views, the infinity pool, sunrise through the bedroom doors, and did I mention the views? This was a perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday!

04/05: D. S. - New York, New York
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us! We had a wonderful time. The view is magnificent and our children had so much fun in the pool we will definitely return!

03/05: J. J. – Tampa, Florida

Wow! A gorgeous view, beautiful house & Magen’s Bay. Who could ask for anything more?! Villa vacationing is the way to go. Looking forward to our next trip to the islands.

02/05: D. M. – Birmingham, Michigan
Thank God it’s time to go…I’ve got to visit the Betty Ford right away!!! What a beautiful piece of paradise you have here. Your dream home is beautiful – more than we could have imagined! It has been absolutely perfect.

02/05: T. G. – Birmingham, Michigan
So many memories..loved the boat trip to Saba Rock, will never forget the jump and water @ Willie T’s. The food, the laughter, the drinking, the talks, all were wonderful.

01/05: S. J. – Atlanta, Georgia
Where to start? What a wonderful time we had: great weather, a wonderful place to stay with an awesome view. The small market around the corner will get you started until you want to venture into town for more stuff. The passion fruit juice goes great with the local rum. Magen’s Bay Resort is great for a casual dinner, the bar at Magen’s Bay beach can be crowded but the beach is magnificent. The highlight of our trip was a day’s sail on the “Scubadu” with Captain Joe and his mate, Angie. A laid back sail on a 50 ft. “Cab” across to St. John where we explored the coast line for snorkeling and laying out. Pausing in a quiet, secluded bay to enjoy fish tacos with mango, pineapple and fresh cilantro – all cooked on the grill and washed down with copious fruity rum drinks. Quite obviously no expense was spared in the construction and decoration of your wonderful home. You have done an amazing job. Thanks to you also for sharing it.

01/05: G.W. – New Jersey
The house was wonderful. Well laid out with lots of “at home” amenities to make everyone comfortable. Our first visit to the island in many years with the exception of a brief cruise stop. We’ll definitely be back. Next time with the whole family. The scenery is breathtaking!

The house is wonderful with such an amazing view! Milkshakes at the dairy are a great afternoon treat. Our favorite meal was at the Stone Terrace on St. John. The ferry comes on the hour at Red Hook and was very easy to use! We had a wonderful vacation, thanks for everything.

12/04: J.M. – Hot Springs, Arkansas
Great pool, great view. Who could ask for anything else?!

12/04: E.G. – New York, New York
Thanks so much for a great week. The accommodations were superb and the house provided a perfect island getaway. Bringing in chefs for our needs provided “First Class” dining in the comfort of our own home. We loved it all so much, we’re already planning our next trip back here!

09/04: J.M. – Kansas City, Missouri
The “Ocean’s Edge” is beautiful. It couldn’t be more perfect. Had a delicious, romantic meal at the “Old Stone Farmhouse.” Magen’s Bay was beautiful but we preferred the infinity pool right here. Grilled some fantastic steaks from the “Marina Market” in Red Hook. We couldn’t think of a better way to spend our honeymoon. We’ll definitely be back.

08/04: A.G. – San Francisco, California
It was awesome staying at Ocean’s Edge. This house is amazing! I highly recommend the brunch buffet at the Ritz-Carleton, and if you’ve got space, an ice-cold Jamocho milk shake at Udder Delights down the road. Great places to snorkel include Norman Island, Trunk Bay and the Annaberg Ruins. For dinner, try the Coconut Shrimp at Mim’s, or the delicious BBQ pork ribs at Tavern on the Waterfront. Lay out by the incredible pool and laugh maniacally as your colleagues back in the states are at work. Thank you Calypso Realty. We’ll be back someday…

08/04: M.C.
Do I have to go back to Pennsylvania?! We loved it here and can’t wait to return! Best beach and view on earth! The house is incredible!

06/04: R. W. family – High Point, North Carolina
The vacation was fabulous. We loved the villa and the view couldn’t have been better! Hope to come back someday and enjoy God’s beauty again!
Suggestions: Best hamburger – Woody’s at St. John (and onion rings); Hire a boat for the day – call Dan at “Pocket Yachts”. He was great!; Limnos tour to Virgin Gorda was great; Best Sunset Casual View and Key Lime Pie: Bryan’s Bar; Make some good memories – we did!

05/04: J.S. family – Naples Florida
